Top Tanning!

Who doesn't love a tan!!?

I know I do. They just make me feel fab and look healthy.

I'm lucky that I naturally tan really well, however this year for most of the sunny days we've had I hid away. In fear of getting those awkward tan lines that would show on my wedding day.
So I faked it!

My favourite type of tan to use is a mousse. I find I can apply them a lot more evenly and they generally have a fab guide colour to help.
For years I've been absolutely loving Crazy Angels Golden Delight tan in medium. I get mine from capital (beauty wholesalers) for around £10.
What do I I love about it?
It smells so good! None of that funny fake tan biscuit smell. Haha! It applies evenly and best of all it doesn't cling to your dry patches. (Knees, elbows etc).
The colour with this tan is really good and fairly dark for a medium shade. I wouldn't personally want to go any darker.

I took some photos for you to see the results:

If you didn't know better you'd think I'd been away hey! I only tanned my legs this time round as my top half has tanned, but as usual my legs stay super pale. (Apart from my
Sandal tan as you've probably noticed! #fail). My only problem with this tan is it doesn't dry quick enough for me. I normally like to tan in the mornings then shower it off in the evenings. But as it takes a good while to dry it's best applied in the evenings when your just chilling out at home.

Out of 5 I give this tan a strong 4/5.

Brighton Mini Moon

Hey hey!

Hope everyone's doing well. I wanted to just do a short blog post about our "mini moon" we recently had to Brighton.

I can totally see why people LOVE Brighton! We both fell in love with the place.

If you haven't been you really need to. Especially if you have kiddies as it's perfect.
We only spent 2 nights there and so wish we booked longer as there's so much to do. Being a seaside town we weren't sure what it would be like and wondered if it would just be one of those cheesey U.K. seaside holidays but definitely not.

We spent time at the marina which is just beautiful with lots of fab places to look round and eat/drink at. There's also so many pretty gardens to look round too.
Paul's not one for shopping (unfortunately haha) so we didn't walk round all the lanes and the town much. Let alone the HUGE shopping centre. So if your a shopper and fancy a girly weekend away Brightons where it's at.
We were so lucky with the weather and felt like we were in Spain. However our travelodge was a sweat box. No air con with windows that hardly open = a hot sweaty mess haha!

All in all it was just lovely to spend a few days away together as we haven't done that in so long. And having just got married it made it seem all the more special.

Post Wedding blues???

Morning Beauties!

Post wedding blues! Is it a thing? Have you had it? Have I got it?

Obviously when planning a wedding, that is all you talk about to EVERYONE you see! And the one question they all seemed to ask is 'What are you going to do with yourself after the wedding?'. The nearer the wedding got the easier my answer was. I was simply looking forward to a time when I didn't have to make decisions, search a hundred shops for one item and any spare money I had could be spent on me again haha!

I never understood when people said that they felt lost after the wedding or completely deflated.  I could still only see excitement afterwards, not sadness. Your starting a new chapter together what's more exciting than that!

Well let me tell you.. I suprised myself!

On Sunday after THE most amazingly perfect day, I'd woke up, and was just pottering around the house and all of a sudden I just burst in to tears! Yep I know.. what the hell!!!

Tears just kept rolling down my face. I wasn't sad though. I was the happiest I'd ever been. Paul then woke up and walked in on me and was like "Whats the matter? Why are you crying?"
I couldn't give him an answer, just told him I didn't know but they weren't sad tears.
The few weeks running up to the wedding we had had A LOT of unexpected stress, so the fact that everything got sorted without it affecting the wedding was just pure relief. And that's what I put the tears down to. Along with the fact that I just couldn't believe everything went perfectly well. I obviously believed something would go wrong.

Since that Sunday though, I definitely haven't had wedding blues. I've just felt proud and enjoyed being a wife.

I'd be really interested in hearing from any of you if you did have wedding blues.

Plus Size Positivity

Plus size positivity is a topic I see frequently throughout social media nowadays. And I'm not normally one to jump on the band wagon however recently I've made a few discoveries that I'd like to share!

Yes I am plus size! Have I accepted it like all these other positive plus size role models...?

My answer is simply no!

For someone who's always been the 'big girl' in most circumstances, I feel I've just adjusted to it. I was always the girl who just made jokes out of the name calling and never let it get to me. But guess what.. it always does in the end.

But I've grown up!
Don't get me wrong I haven't 100% accepted my body and will be carrying on losing weight. But I've found a confidence from the clothes I wear.

You CAN be plus size and still look and feel HOT!

And it's easy to achieve..
Simply wear what the f#$k you want!!
Own your style. If you like it wear it, if it makes you feel good, wear it and if it accentuates your favourite feature.. bloody wear it!

The years I've wasted worrying if I look ok is ridiculous.

I know when I first went to try on wedding dresses and was dreading it, thinking, 'oh god, white or ivory is going to look awful on me'. But I tell you what, when I found THE dress I felt amazing! I even made a comment to my mum saying I can't believe how good I feel in this colour. And yes of course I wanted to lose weight for the wedding like most brides but due to a very hard 18months leading up to it I only managed to lose a stone. Much less than I'd wanted. But I can tell you this... I felt bloody AMAZING in my dress and that's all that mattered.

This past weekend I've been in Brighton on our 'mini moon', and normally when the weather is hot I would NEVER be seen wearing shorts in the UK! Only ever abroad when I know I won't bump into anyone I know. Silly hey! But this weekend as it was SO DAMN HOT I donned my shorts and headed out for the day. Cellulite and all, and guess what.. I didn't care, and nor did anyone else.

All you have to remember is no matter what size someone is, we ALL have hang ups about our bodies. Even the guys.

So basically what I'm trying to get across in this blog post is just be you and love the way you look. Don't worry about what you look like naked, no one sees this other than your partner and guess what.. they still love you!

So love yo'self
Mwah

Hello! Hola! Bonjour!

Hola!

Welcome to the new and improved blog!
Yes that's right! I'm blogging (again!!). Track records have definitely proved, how shall we say it...
not great!
But for some unknown reason, since getting married I feel like a completely new woman! Any one else? Just me? Ok haha!

I just don't know what it is but I definitely feel different. Some would even say more grown up. (If that can even happen).

Whatever it is I feel ready for it. Ready to take on new challenges, ready to take the plunge and try new things and just ready to properly get on with life and enjoy it.

I'm currently in Brighton, on our mini moon, in THE hottest travel lodge room ever!!!
Some would say a random time to start a new blog, I however see it as the perfect time. I had the urge and I went with it!

I can't tell you where this blog will lead, or what content it may cover. All I know is it's just going to be me! Real life!

I've added a few piccys in below from today, and will love you and leave you for now!
